Michael Covais is the principal of Covais Law Offices, offering years of experience and a deep understanding of matters of law. He provides legal services to individuals, institutions, professional firms, companies, and family businesses in the areas of real estate law, small business, estate and trusts planning, and probate of estates.
A member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, Mr. Covais is a 1989 graduate of Harvard University and a 1992 Graduate of Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk, he was co-research editor of the Adelphia Law Journal.
Attorney Covais is an active member of his community in Quincy, Massachusetts, assuming leadership roles in many nonprofit and educational organizations. He is currently Vice-Chair City of Quincy board of appeals. He has served as the chair-person of the board of trustees of the Sagamore Place Condominium Trust, and the chair-person of the Greater Quincy Child Care Center, and Quincy Youth Basketball.
Mr. Covais was on the steering committee of the Squantum/Marina Bay Business Partnership of Quincy 2000, a non-profit economic development corporation formed to unite Quincy’s public and private sectors.
